About the Valiente Project

The Valiente Project is the nonprofit extension of Latinas On The Go, built on one simple belief: when a woman is seen, supported, and equipped—she becomes valiente.
Rooted in sisterhood and designed with intention, the Valiente Project exists to pour into women at the very beginning stages of building something meaningful. Whether it’s a business idea, a passion project, or simply a desire to grow in confidence, our mission is to walk alongside women who are ready to say, “I’m ready for more.”
What we Do
We host a guided, 5-week experience that blends personal development with practical tools for entrepreneurship. This isn’t just about learning—it’s about becoming. Through a blend of hands-on workshops, one-on-one coaching, and authentic community, women walk away with:

Each week covers a key area of growth: personality + confidence, business planning, branding, finances, and a final celebration of growth.

Sarahi TerreforteHello! I’m Sarahi Terreforte, founder of Latinas On The Go. By day, I'm busy house hunting for clients, collaborating with partners, or tackling tasks at the office. Evenings are for unwinding at home with my son and our fur baby, Charlie.
Launching Latinas On The Go has been incredibly rewarding. Empowering women and contributing to our community fills my life with purpose and joy. I’m thankful for the amazing group of women who've joined us on this journey toward a promising future.
I hold a degree in Communication from the University of South Florida, which propelled me into a fulfilling real estate career—definitely one of my best life choices! It aligns perfectly with my life’s mission to help others.

Yomara OliverasACCOUNTANT & FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Hello! I’m Yomara Oliveras, the Accountant & Financial Advisor for Latinas On The Go. I earned a BA in Accounting & Finance from the University of Puerto Rico and moved from Puerto Rico in 2006, embarking on a new life adventure with my husband.
As the owner of The Books Solution, my passion lies in helping others achieve their financial dreams through guidance and education. Joining Latinas On The Go has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to connect with dynamic, entrepreneurial women and learn from their diverse cultures, values, and aspirations. I’ve assisted many in realizing their dreams of business ownership and professional advancement.
I joined Latinas On The Go because its leadership team shares my core values of community and generosity. This movement of entrepreneurial women who support each other and the community aligns perfectly with my dedication to helping others without expecting anything in return.
Wendy De JesusCOMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR
Born in Habana, Cuba, Wendy and her family took a leap of faith at the age of seven, making Tampa, Florida, their new home. With a degree in Public Policy and Administration, she has always had a heart for people.
Now serving as a Ministry Coordinator and working in full-time ministry, she gets to do what she loves most—serving God and serving others. (Really, what could be better than that?)God has blessed Wendy with many gifts, but the greatest is her ability to connect with and love people.
Whether through ministry or everyday life, she believes that true impact happens in the moments of genuine connection. What better way to do that than by serving within your own community.Wendy is always on the go! Whether she is cooking it up at home for her hubby and two amazing steps sons, cuddling with her fur babies, managing her business, or talking about Jesus… she always finds time to care and love for others.

Josselin SolteroHello! My name is Josselin Soltero, and I’m proud to serve as the Social Media Manager for Latinas On The Go. Born in the beautiful country of Mexico and raised in sunny Tampa, Florida since I was seven, I’m proud to call both places home.
As the owner of my own marketing agency, I’m passionate about helping brands connect authentically with their audience and thrive in today’s digital world. Beyond my work in marketing, I’m a pre-law student with aspirations of becoming a future lawyer.
In my free time, you’ll often find me experimenting in the kitchen, perfecting my golf swing, or spending quality time with my husband and our three fur babies.

Melanie BourimiOriginally from Colombia, I grew up under the sunny skies of West Palm Beach, Florida, from the age of four. These days, I'm planting roots in the vibrant city of San Diego, California, where I blend my passion for tech with empowering women in business. When I'm not fine-tuning AI chatbots or consulting on brand strategies, I'm reconnecting with nature alongside my husband and our pup.
I seize every opportunity to engage with our community, whether I'm home or on the go. Life for me is about making meaningful connections and finding joy in both work and play. I'm here to inspire and be inspired, embracing each new adventure with an open heart.
